TUNEHUB LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective date: Sep 10, 2026
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TuneHub ("TuneHub", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the TuneHub website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). Where applicable law requires consent for a specific type of processing, TuneHub will request that consent separately.
1. Information we collect
When you create or use a TuneHub account, we may collect your name or display name, email address, profile image, authentication-provider identifier, verification status, account status, and account timestamps. If password sign-in is enabled, passwords are stored only in one-way hashed form; TuneHub does not store your Google password.
Depending on the features you use, we may process saved stations, podcasts, audiobooks, favorites, listening preferences, reports, account settings, and player state. Some player state may remain only in your browser or device.
We may process technical and security information needed to operate the Service, including IP address, browser or device type, operating system, request timestamps, session information, error logs, and abuse-prevention logs. We do not intentionally use security logs as a substitute for advertising profiles.
2. Third-party audio and catalog requests
TuneHub provides access to third-party content and metadata. Depending on the selected catalog mode and the content you play, your browser or device may connect directly to radio-directory servers, radio-station streaming servers, podcast publishers, audiobook hosts, or other content providers. Those services can normally receive technical request information such as your IP address, user-agent/device information, request time, and resource requested, under their own privacy practices.
When Radio Browser Direct catalog mode is active, TuneHub may request Radio Browser data directly from your browser. Radio playback is ordinarily delivered by the relevant station or stream host rather than by TuneHub.
3. How we use and share information
We use information to provide and secure TuneHub, provide library features, improve discovery and playback, process reports, respond to support/privacy/copyright requests, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and comply with law. We may share information where reasonably necessary with infrastructure and security providers, authentication providers you choose, external services your device contacts, professional advisers or authorities, and a successor entity in a legitimate transfer of the Service.
TuneHub does not sell user account data to advertisers. If advertising, behavioral analytics, or new data-sharing practices are introduced, this Policy and required consent controls must be updated first.
4. Data retention and deletion
TuneHub keeps personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Account-linked data not subject to a legitimate retention requirement should be deleted or anonymized when an account is deleted. Limited security, abuse-prevention, legal-request, or dispute records may be retained where documented as necessary and must not be used for unrelated purposes.
You may request deletion through /account/delete or a clearly identified in-product control. Deletion is different from suspension. When completed, TuneHub removes or anonymizes eligible account and user data, invalidates access, and limits any legally required retention.
5. Your rights, security, and children
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or information about processing of your personal data. TuneHub uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. TuneHub is a general-audience audio service and is not designed specifically for children.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as TuneHub evolves or legal requirements change. Material updates receive a new effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice.

Cookies
TuneHub uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies where necessary to operate, secure, and remember parts of the Service.
Essential cookies and storage
TuneHub may use essential cookies or local/session storage for authentication and login sessions, CSRF/security protections, account continuity, player preferences such as volume, temporary sleep-timer state, operational preferences, and abuse prevention. These technologies are necessary or closely related to features requested by the user.
Optional tracking and third-party requests
At the time this policy is first implemented, TuneHub does not claim to use optional analytics or advertising cookies unless they are actually enabled. If optional tracking is introduced, this Policy and any required consent mechanism must be updated first.
Playing or discovering third-party audio can connect your browser or device to external stations, hosts, directories, feeds, or content providers with their own practices outside TuneHub's control. Your browser or device may provide controls for deleting or blocking cookies; blocking essential cookies can prevent login or other functionality.
